Experimenting with smoke simulation in blender

Found many new parameters for smoke while working on the daily renders. Blender smoke isn't that bad !

A touch of motion blur on this and it cooks a very pretty render

Apart from tyre smoke, what really grew on me was what can be achieved with simple smoke dispersion on a road like surface. A fisheye camera and the correct amount of motion blur yields near perfect results.

Experimenting further, I think a snowy scene with a car zooming by can also benefit from this thick dispersed smoke sim which almost looks like there's snow and dirt being thrown behind. Will definitely try this in my next render week!
